My Career
I work in Compliance, focusing on Anti-Money Laundering at a Community Bank. Like many in this “accidental career,” I started out as a teller while attending UW–Milwaukee. After earning my BA in Economics and a minor in General Business, I was able to grow professionally and reach the role I’m in today.
My Family
I’ve lived in Waukesha County for most of my life. My family moved to Wisconsin when I was a child, choosing Brookfield for its safety, strong schools, and close proximity to Milwaukee. So when my wife and I were ready to buy our first home, we knew exactly where we wanted to be. We wanted our children to have the same experiences and attend the same schools that shaped us.
My wife and I met while attending Brookfield East, and we’ve spent more than twenty years building a life together. We have two children: our oldest is a Police Officer serving the community of Wauwatosa, and our youngest is a freshman at UW–Platteville, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
As our children grew older and more independent, I found myself with more time to give back to the community that has given me so much. That led me to run for and serve on the County Board. Since 2020, I’ve had the privilege of representing part of Brookfield, the Village of Butler, and portions of Menomonee Falls. I look forward to continuing that service for as long as I am able.
