I currently work as a Finance Manager at a large financial institution. Often called the accidental occupation, I started my career in banking as a teller at a local branch while attending UW-Milwaukee. After receiving my BA in Economics, with a minor in General Business I was fortunate enough to advance my career to where I am today.
I have lived in Waukesha County for most of my life. My family moved to Wisconsin when I was a child, choosing Brookfield because it was a safe area, with excellent schools in close proximity to Milwaukee. When it was time for my wife and I to buy our first house, we knew where we wanted to be. We wanted our kids to enjoy the same experiences, and attend the same schools that we did.
My wife and I met while attending Brookfield East and have spent over twenty years building a life together. We have two children, our oldest attends NIU where she runs track, and works towards her double major in psychology and sociology with plans to go into law enforcement when she graduates. Our youngest is a freshman at Brookfield East where he is involved on the Robotics team and plans to run track in the spring.
As my children have grown older and become more independent, I found myself with more time on my hands. I wanted to use that time to give back to the community I love by serving on the County Board. I have had the pleasure of representing part of Brookfield, the Village of Butler and portions of Menomonee Falls since 2020. I look forward to continuing that service for as long as I am able.
